Structure of the Research Unit

The Research Unit 1695 'Regional Climate Change' is composed of nine scientific projects which are arranged in the five thematic areas 'Land Surface-Atmosphere Feedbacks', 'Soil', 'Crop Quality', 'Socio-economics' and 'Integration' plus one project in charge of project management and communication.

The figure shows the structure of the Research Unit 1695 illustrating the relationship of the Projects P1 - P9 to the "core modelling axis" with the model systems ALCM (Atmosphere-Land surface-Crop Model), BEMS (Bio-Economic Model System) and ILMS (Integrated Land-system Model System).
